Week 3 Discussion 2

I need you to paraphase and not plagiarize this. I need it in an hour.

 Discussion 2: Applying Decision-Making Models

There are numerous ethical decision-making models, or EDMs, utilized in the counseling profession. As a practicing counselor, you will be expected to incorporate the use of an EDM in your practice. Understanding how to integrate these EDMs to specific cases will differ on a day-to-day basis. Therefore, it is important to hone the skill of applying EDMs within your professional practice to ensure ethical, efficient, and effective counseling services. Sifting out the nuances between these different EDMs is helpful in the preparation for future practice.

For this Discussion, use the Case Study Analysis Worksheet located in the Learning Resources for this week. Then, select a case study from the ACA Ethical Standards Casebook and an ethical decision-making model. Finally, consider how you would apply this model to a case study.

Post by Day 3 a brief description of the case study you selected from the ACA Ethical Standards Casebook and ethical decision-making model you selected. Then explain how you would apply this ethical decision-making model to the case study.

Be sure to use the Learning Resources and the current literature to support your response.

Preparing For The Six Source Essay And The Synthesis Of Sources Essay (Literature Review)

Your third writing assignment (WA #3) in WRTG 391 will be a six-source essay, or an expanded synthesis. This essay will lead you to your final essay (WA #4), a multiple-source synthesis essay, also known as a literature review.

Watch the two video tutorials from UMUC Library, “How to Write a Literature Review” and “How to Write a Synthesis Essay,” and complete the following task.

Imagine that you are working for department within a large company.  The manager of your department is considering allowing workers in your department to telework, in other words, to work from home.

However, your manager is not sure what to expect from this possible change.

She is not sure what the advantages, pitfalls, unexpected issues, etc. are of allowing teleworking. For example, she is not sure whether workers become less productive because they will be working from home and not supervised.  She also considers the possibility that workers will become more productive because they won’t have to worry about traffic and parking.  They won’t have to take large amounts of time off to get children to a doctor’s appointment, to see a doctor themselves, to take care of errands, etc.  It is possible that working from home will improve productivity.

Other questions abound in her mind.  For example, how many days a week should the workers be allowed to telework?  Should they be limited to one day?  Two days?  Or should they be unlimited to telework as many days as they would like per week?

In addition, she is not sure if everyone should be allowed to telework or if perhaps only people in certain positions should be allowed to telework.  For example, she knows that the janitor cannot telework.  His job could not be done at a distance.  But some individuals could telework, as their jobs involve meetings and other functions that could be accomplished at a distance.

Overall, your manager is somewhat at a loss on this issue.

Your manager has asked you to review the literature on teleworking.  She has asked that you submit a literature review to her next month on the topic of teleworking.

From what you have gleaned in this class about what a literature review is, what is your manager asking you to do? Does she want a proposal that supports a new teleworking arrangement? Does she want a persuasive paper that takes a stand against teleworking? Or does she want something entirely different from those two options?

Please give your answer in a paragraph of 5-10 sentences

Assignment 1: LASA 2 Society’s Response to Crime

Society’s response to crime has changed over the past century. The approach of rehabilitation in the 1960s has gradually been replaced with a “get tough on crime” approach, bringing in mandatory sentencing laws and long prison sentences. Regardless of the approach, crime continues to be a problem, and recidivism for some crimes and some offenders remains high. In this assignment, you will explore society’s response to crime and different concepts of justice.

EDU 673 Week 5 Assignment ( Differentiated Assessment ) – A Graded – Best Tutorial – Quality Work

Differentiated Assessment
Over the past four weeks you’ve had the opportunity to create a classroom environment that supports the foundations of differentiated instruction (DI), brainstorm differentiated strategies that align with the Common Core State Standards, and create the foundation for a unit plan based that incorporates instructional technology while adhering to UDL and DI principles.
This week, you will use what you’ve learned to create a summative assessment for the unit plan you created using one of the strategies from your PLC blog, and with the classroom environment you’ve outlined in Week Two.
This summative assessment must: Identify the Common Core State Standard  being assessed for mastery (it can be the same one you used in Week Four’s assignment). Identify a unit goal that aligns  with the Common Core State Standard.

For example: The students will (Measurable Verb) by (A specific outcome with a specific tool) with ___% accuracy.
You will also address: Measurable mastery  – Describe how mastery can be measured. (e.g., classify, discriminate, create, construct, defend, predict, evaluate, etc.). Be sure to avoid subjective words such as know, understand, learn, or appreciate. A specific outcome  – Explain what students will do to demonstrate mastery. (e.g., skill or knowledge that has been gained as a result of this unit). Measurable progress  – Identify the tool that will be used to measure mastery. (e.g., project, journal, test, etc.). Proficiency Level  – Determine the acceptable level of achievement to demonstrate mastery. Create three formative assessments  using the three day lesson plan outline from the unit plan. Be sure that each formative assessment addresses: a unique, differentiated teaching strategy for each day’s lesson, multiple intelligences, student’s different learning styles, and how the assessment results will be used to drive instruction. Create a summative assessment  that appraises mastery of the Common Core State Standard and the Unit Objective. Be sure to use the summative assessment outline plan from the unit plan. The summative assessment must include: Directions to complete the assessment written using vocabulary and terms geared towards your identified student population. A rubric that clearly details how each part of the assignment will be graded. Provisions for addressing multiple intelligences and various learning styles.

The assignment should be a minimum of five pages in length, not including the title and reference pages, and must include reference to the course text and one additional resource (scholarly article or online resource). The assignment must be cited in proper APA format. A title and reference page must be included.
Carefully review the Grading Rubric for the criteria that will be used to evaluate your assignment.

M1A3 POLICITAL PERSONALITIES

Assignment 3: Political Personalities

SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT FOR ASSIGNMENT DETAILS.  PLEASE INCLUDE AN APA STYLE ESSAY AND REFERENCE LIST (INCLUDING URL’S), SO I CAN READ REFERENCES USED.

As we have seen this week when looking at both psychoanalytic and neo-psychoanalytic theory, much of our mental health and success in adulthood is related to the events and relationships of our childhood. Much like Freud, Alfred Adler believed that childhood events are pivotal for the adult. For Adler, his pivotal childhood events were the development of rickets which kept him from walking until the age of four and contracting a near-fatal case of pneumonia at age five. These events served to inculcate a lifelong ambition which centered around his becoming a physician in order to focus on the curing of deadly diseases.

According to Alfred Adler, all people have moments when they feel inferior. For many, such moments will lead them to strive to compensate for that weakness. When this happens, it leads to what he calls “superiority striving,” in which the person is motivated by his or her feelings of inferiority to overcome and strive for betterment, achievement, and perfection.

It is important to note that superiority striving is different from simply striving for power. Adler considered this an unhealthy desire because the sole goal is power. The way that someone strives to meet his or her goals from an Adlerian point of view is referred to as a style of life.

Adler is also known for his study of birth order and its impact on personality.

Research Adler’s theory using your textbook, the Internet, and the Argosy University online library resources. Based on your research, respond to the following:Choose a social or political leader (current or past) to examine through an Adlerian framework of superiority striving and style of life.Superiority StrivingWhat might be the motivation behind this leader’s career choice, according to Adler’s theory? What was this person’s perceived inferiority or weakness? How did this person obtain his or her high level of superiority striving? For example, Franklin Roosevelt’s bout with polio may have been responsible for some of his motivation. Style of LifeWhat was his/her goal and unique style of life that could be used to achieve this goal? What steps did this person take to overcome their perceived inferiority?Did this leader act out of social interest or for personal gain? What was the long-term outcome of his/her striving? Birth OrderHow would you apply Adler’s theory of birth order to this personality?

Format your paper so it is double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font, and with normal one-inch margins. Include a title page with a running head, an abstract, and a reference page. Do this for all the papers for this course.

Write a 2–3-page paper in Word format. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.
